The Vosges lakes around the campsite.
Beyond Lake Gérardmer, the region is full of other lakes to discover from our Camping Montagne des Vosges. Lake Longemer, Lake des Corbeaux, Lake Blanc or Lake Retournemer: each has its own character, with swimming, fishing at the Noirrupt pond and views over the Vosges peaks. And for lovers of unspoilt nature, the Vosges also hide many smaller, lesser-known lakes and ponds, nestled in the heart of the forest. By venturing off the busiest paths, you’ll discover peaceful, intimate spots—perfect for a quiet moment in nature. Plenty to vary your outings as you hike!
Don’t miss the famous 3 Lakes hike, a must-do route linking Lakes Gérardmer, Longemer and Retournemer through the stunning landscapes of the High Vosges.

Lake Longemer.

Loved for its natural setting and the clarity of its water, Lake Longemer is perfect for a family walk, a picnic by the water, or a swim just minutes from the campsite. Lined with forests and offering superb views over the Vosges, it’s a must-visit spot to relax and enjoy nature. From the lake, don’t miss the Roche Boulard walk, an easy stroll with beautiful panoramas over Longemer and the surrounding mountains. At any time of day, the site invites you to explore and take it all in.
Lake des Corbeaux.
Nestled in the heart of the forest, Lake des Corbeaux appeals to lovers of unspoilt nature and peaceful walks, far from the bustle of the region’s busiest lakes. Its wooded setting and calm atmosphere make it an ideal stop for a relaxing break in nature, away from the most touristy trails, between visits to the major Vosges lakes.

Lake Blanc.

Lake Blanc, with its spectacular mountain setting, is a popular outing for hikers. Set at altitude, this stretch of water surrounded by fir trees and rocky cliffs offers remarkable views over the Vosges massif, accessible via several hiking trails suited to different levels. Its classic High Vosges scenery makes it a highly photogenic destination for the whole family.

Lake Retournemer.
More discreet, Lake Retournemer offers relaxing spots by the water, perfect for enjoying the peace and the surrounding nature. Less busy than its neighbours, it appeals to those who love tranquillity and are looking for an unspoilt natural setting—ideal for a quiet break by the water, as you continue your discovery of Lake Gérardmer.
